With this Privacy Policy, reeeg GmbH ("reeeg", hereinafter also referred to as "we" or "us") informs you how we collect or process personal data when you visit our website, contact us or when we work together with you. Please note that this Privacy Policy is intended as a general overview and we may provide you with more specific information about how your personal data is processed at the time of collection.

reeeg responsibly processes personal data in accordance with the applicable legal provisions and in accordance with this Privacy Policy. In doing so, we comply in particular with the provisions of the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (Data Protection Act, FADP), the Ordinance on the Data Protection Act (Data Protection Ordinance, DPA) and any other data protection provisions, insofar as these are applicable to the data processing referred to in this declaration.

This Privacy Policy is aimed at individuals whose data is processed by us. If you provide us with personal data of other persons (e.g. family members, representatives, counterparties or other related persons), we assume that you are authorised to do so, that such personal data is accurate and that you have ensured that these persons are informed of the disclosure (e.g. by bringing this Privacy Policy to the attention of the individual in advance).

1. Scope

"Personal data" refers to any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person. "Processing" means any handling of personal data, irrespective of the means and procedures used, in particular the collection, storage, storage, keeping, use, modification, disclosure, archiving, deletion or destruction of personal data.

3. Processing of personal data

reeeg processes general contact information about you, e.g. first and last name and how we can get in contact with you (e.g. e-mail address, postal address, telephone number).

reeeg processes personal data that you provide to us, e.g. for the implementation of pre-contractual measures and to provide contractually agreed services, including the administration of the business relationship or the invoicing of the services. This regularly includes personal data such as first name, surname, contact details (e-mail address, telephone number), function or position in a company for which you work or which you represent. If you apply for a job with us, we will record your career and further details about your education and qualifications and other information that you provide to us with your application documents.

reeeg processes personal data about you, which we may receive from third parties and which become known to us. When you use a reeeg service, we may receive information from you, your counterparties and business partners, or from courts or authorities. This includes personal data that we receive in correspondence, during meetings with third parties, e.g. first and last name, information about your work as an employee of our clients or their business partners, a public authority or a court.

reeeg processes personal data that we collect about you. It may be necessary for us to obtain information about you from publicly available sources. This includes, in particular, information from public registers, information in connection with official or judicial proceedings, information in connection with professional activities or functions, information on compliance with legal requirements such as anti-money laundering and export restrictions, information from banks, insurance companies and other contractual partners of reeeg on the use or provision of services for clients and third parties, or information in the media and the internet.

Furthermore, reeeg processes personal data that it collects from users in the course of operating the website www.reeeg.ch. If a person visits this website, the server on which we have made the website available automatically registers certain technical data (e.g. IP address, the date and duration of the visit of the website) as well as other information that your browser sends when you visit a website (e.g. browser name and version, operating system, preferred language). 4. Purposes of data processing

We always process your personal data proportionately and for a specific purpose. Primarily, we process personal data in order to provide, document and process our services properly and in accordance with our contractual and legal obligations. In addition, reeeg also processes personal data for the following purposes:

  • Communication with you, including recording of images and sounds (in which case we inform you and ask for your consent before any recording)
  • Responding to inquiries
  • Processing of job applications
  • Offering and developing of services and the website
  • Administration and management of our website, including monitoring IT security and maintaining quality and risk management
  • Client care and marketing (whereby you can inform us at any time that you do not wish to receive information about reeeg in the future)
  • Analytics to improve the usability and use of our website
  • Enforcement of legal claims and defense in the context of legal disputes and official proceedings
  • Compliance with applicable legal requirements, such as retention obligations and contractual agreements.

5. Disclosure of data to third parties and transfer of data abroad

The personal data processed by reeeg will be transmitted to third parties only if necessary and insofar as we are entitled to do so or useful from our point of view, for the provision of the services or the fulfilment of other purposes defined in this Privacy Policy. These recipients of personal data may fall into the following categories:

  • Clients and their affiliates
  • Suppliers, their subcontractors and other external service providers (e.g. banks, insurance companies, accounting) and processors (e.g. IT providers)
  • Domestic and foreign authorities, official agencies and courts, conciliation boards and arbitration tribunals
  • Other parties to potential or actual legal proceedings.

Recipients of personal data are usually located in Switzerland. In particular, when reeeg uses certain products or services, personal data may also be disclosed to third parties outside Switzerland.

If a recipient is located in a country without an adequate level of data protection, reeeg contractually obliges the recipient to comply with the applicable data protection law (e.g. with standard contractual clauses), unless the recipient is already subject to a legally recognized set of rules to ensure data protection or reeeg will rely on an exceptional provision, such as consent, the execution of the contract or an overriding public interest.

6. Data security and data storage

reeeg takes appropriate technical and organisational security measures to protect your personal data from unauthorised access and misuse. Your personal data will only be stored for as long as and to the extent necessary for the performance of our services, the fulfilment of our legal obligations or the other purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

7. Cookies & Tracking, Social Media

When using our website, data is stored in logs (in particular technical data). When providing and using the website, neither personal data about the user is processed nor the use of the website is analysed. To a limited extent, "cookies" are also used. A cookie is a small file that is transmitted between the server and your system and allows a specific device or browser to be recognized.

These cookies are used to collect statistical information about how visitors use the website on an anonymous basis. The information also allows the operator to optimize the functionality of the website and make it more user-friendly. Both the technical data we collect and cookies usually do not contain any personal data. You can set your browser to automatically reject, accept or delete cookies. We operate pages and other online presences on social networks and other platforms operated by third parties ("third-party providers") and process data about you in this context. In doing so, we receive data from you (e.g. when you communicate with us or comment on our content) and from third-party providers (e.g. statistics). We have no influence on the data protection settings of the platforms of these third-party providers. The third-party service providers may analyze your usage and process this information along with other information they have about you. They also process this data for their own purposes (e.g. marketing and market research purposes and to manage their platforms), and act as their own controllers for this purpose. If you register with a third-party platform, you must accept its terms of use and the data processing described therein. We have no influence on this user agreement. Alternatively, you can access our offers on our own website.

Third party service providers may be located outside of Switzerland or outside the European Economic Area. We would like to point out that this may result in risks, e.g. because it can make it more difficult to enforce the rights of data subjects. Further details are regulated by the privacy policies of the individual third-party providers.

The data will not be passed on to third parties, neither for commercial nor non-commercial purposes, by reeeg.

8. Rights of the data subject

With regard to personal data concerning you, you have the following rights in accordance with the FADP:

  • Right to information about existing personal data and how we process it
  • Right to rectification of your personal data if it is inaccurate
  • Right to deletion of your personal data
  • Right to restrict the processing of your personal data
  • Right to object to the processing of your personal data
  • Right to revoke consent given for the future
  • Right to receive or transmit a copy of your personal data in a commonly used format.

reeeg would like to draw your attention to the fact that we reserve the right to enfroce the restrictions provided for by law, such as statutory retention or processing obligations or the existence of an overriding interest in data processing. The assertion of rights may result in reeeg no longer being able to provide the agreed services and may result in the termination of the contract.

If you wish to exercise these rights, please contact us by using the contact details in No. 2. Please note that in order to prevent misuse we may possibly verify your identity.

You also have the right to file a complaint with the competent data protection authority. In Switzerland, this would be the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).

reeeg may revise this Privacy Policy at any time without prior notice. The current version published on the reeeg website applies.
